This human rights activist who is currently serving a 30-month prison sentence in Qarchak prison in Varamin, was convicted in a new case by the revolutionary court to 8 years and 2 months in prison, 74 lashes and deprivations of her socio-political activities. The European Union has condemned the sentence issued to her and stated that it wants Iran to fulfill its human rights obligations, adhere to international law and due to her deteriorating health condition, release her immediately.
