As Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi – directly responsible for mass executions of thousands of political prisoners and other crimes -- addresses UN General Assembly, the International Emergency Campaign to Free Iran’s Political Prisoners will condemn the Islamic Republic of Iran’s vicious, illegitimate repression, demand freedom for Iran’s political prisoners, and read statements from relatives of political prisoners, including Mariam Claren, daughter of Nahid Taghavi, and Elika Ashoori, daughter of Anoosheh Ashoori, former political prisoners, Kave Milani of the Burn the Cage/Free the Birds prisoner support movement, and others.
