Below are just a few of the more significant events by independent forces around the world to mark the one year anniversary of the murder of Mahsa Jina Amini that sparked the months-long uprising for "Women, Life, Freedom" in Iran. It is not meant to be comprehensive, and there may be more to post on developments inside Iran in the weeks ahead.
Night March, Germany
Feminist and other independent organizations held vibrant marches in several cities of Europe. Below is one on the night of September 15 in Berlin, organized by several left-wing radical feminist collectives in solidarity with the Jina Uprising. Feminist Internationalists from Sudan, Afghanistan, Syria and Kurdish groups read solidarity statements.

Times Square, NYC
As seen in Times Square, New York, on Sept 16. The organization Iranian Diaspora Collective displayed this spectacular animated billboard featuring Mahsa Amini and four other youth murdered by Iranian security forces. Watch the video on IG. They reported that they displayed 135 other installations around the US for the Jina Anniversary.
